Women Development Cell is to serve the women teaching and non teaching staff and female students of school.

Objectives

1. To enhance the self-esteem and self confidence of women students, faculty and staff in the school.
2. To promote intellectual & cultural activities for overall personality development of students.
3. To develop critical thinking ability of girl students such that it enhances decision making ability.
4. To enable girls to make informed choices in areas like education, employment and health especially reproductive health.
5. To enhance their active participation on an equal footing in all areas.

 

Initiatives

1. Conducted a programme on “Gender Discrimination & Safety”
2. Women’s Day Celebration every year on March 8.
3. Involvement of mother parent especially housewives in extracurricular activities like Clay toy making, Cooking without fire, Craft and many more.
4. Organizing Programme “Naari tu Narayani” where mother of student and the ladies who are social worker, leader, doctor, engineer, educator, trainer or active in any field is called to share their success journey to inspire students.

 

Instructions for the girl students in school

1. Proper dress code of school uniform should be followed.
2. Body fit clothing, transparent or revealing outfits should be avoided.
3. Sharing of mobile phone number with unknown person should be avoided.
4. Harassment of any nature should be reported to higher authorities for redressal.
5. The helpline desk at school during school hours is made available for teaching, non teaching staff and students which can be utilized for reporting any untoward incidents which can cause physical and mental anguish.
